State of Alaska Licensing Information for Occupational Therapists

Therapists practicing in the State of Alaska are required to be licensed. The licensing period is every two years. As part of the re-licensing criteria in the State of Alaska, each therapist must complete 24 contact hours of continuing education and have provided occupational therapy services for at least 60 hours during the concluding licensing period. It is the therapist’s responsibility to notify the Division of Occupational Licensing of any address changes.
