COURSE DESCRIPTION:

In this two-day course, experienced clinicians will offer their knowledge of the visual system, assessment techniques, professional networking regarding visual management, and clinical manifestations of common visual impairments following stroke and traumatic brain injury. The entire second day of the course is devoted to the clinical application of treatment strategies in a hands-on interactive lab format. The assessment and treatment strategies learned can be immediately implemented in practice by clinicians who work with both children and adults. Participants will receive a detailed outline of each presentation, basic visual treatment tools, and reference materials for use following the course.

COURSE FEES

AKOTA Members: $350 on or before 9/15/2019, $375 after 9/15/2019

Non -Members: $450 on or before 9/15/2019, $475 after 9/15/2019

Student Rates: $125, must have student ID

Registration Closes 10/13/2019-   No onsite registration-   Space limited to 50 attendees-   Lunch is provided
